mVenture Launches £25-per-month Charity App Service

Mobile app developer mVenture has launched a service that offers charities a donation-enabled iPhone app for £25 per month, plus a £150 set-up fee.

The app can incorporate news and events pages, information about the charity, contact details, Twitter and Facebook integration, and the ability to accept donations into a PayPal account. The charity just needs a registered Business or Premium PayPal account. The app also enables the charity to send push notifications to anyone who downloads the app.

To launch the service, mVenture is offering to create a smartphone-optimised mobile website free of charge for the first 20 charities to sign up for the service.
