Mobile entertainment firm Myxer has signed an agreement with Sony Music Entertainment to make Sony Music’s catalogue of full-length tracks, music videos, images, and ringtones available to Myxer’s community of more than 35m music fans in the US.
As part of the deal, Sony Music artists will be able to make use of Myxer’s MobileStage, a customizable mobile website solution complete with fan-list management features, data analytics, messaging, and other promotional opportunities.
“Our agreement with Sony Music allows Myxer’s community to gain access to a huge catalogue of new content from some of the most popular music and recording artists from around the world,” says Myxer CEO, Myk Willis.
