Netflix unveils pop-up shop to support mental health charity Mind

Netflix, has launched a pop-up store in London, offering props, costumes, and memorabilia from some of its most beloved shows to raise funds for the mental health charity, Mind.

Created by The Experience Agency, the pop-up, called ‘As seen on Netflix,’ debuted last week in Bethnal Green, East London, and has now moved to Birmingham’s iconic Bullring shopping centre.

The shop is also hosting an online auction, featuring exclusive items from Netflix, such as a coat worn by Nick in Heartstopper, which is expected to fetch a staggering £18,000. Other notable items include props from Bridgerton and The Crown.

“As Seen on Netflix is more than just a pop-up shop; it’s a celebration of incredible fan communities. Fandom has an extraordinary ability to bring people together, creating connections and community around a passion for stories,” said Anne Mensah, Netflix’s VP of UK content.

Proceeds from the auction and store will benefit Mind, with the charity managing sales through its eBay page. Additionally, Mind is offering fans the chance to win one of three signed posters of Jeff Goldblum’s Zeus from KAOS through a free prize draw.

Sarah Hughes, CEO of Mind, commented: “We know that when mental health issues are explored on-screen, they can hold real power in helping us to understand our own experiences. That’s why we are delighted to be joining forces with Netflix for this very special partnership, to make sure no mind is left behind.”
