NeuStar has revealed that it has mobilised ICQs Instant Messaging solution in Israel for Partner Communications, part of the Orange group. The partnership capitalises on the popularity of the ICQ IM service to offer Partner Communications a competitive advantage in the mobile market by enabling ICQ members to message each other through their mobile phones. NeuStar says it is able to offer this solution to Partner Communications, after reaching agreement with ICQ to mobilise its Instant Messaging service for mobile operators worldwide.
We chose to work with NeuStar not only because of its reputation as being one of the most successful mobile IM companies in the world, but also due to its unique relationship with ICQ says Iris Beck, VP Marketing and Content at Partner Communications. This provided us with the means to mobilise ICQs popular service for our customers by dealing with only one company, saving time and enabling us to launch quickly and efficiently in Israel.
Orey Gilliam, CEO of ICQ, adds:
The mobile instant messaging opportunity is an important one for ICQ, which has close to 24 million active users worldwide. It is vital for us that we work with companies that have relevant experience and expertise.
