Nexmo Adds Three to Messaging Carrier Partners

3Vector P-BCloud services company Nexmo has entered into a partnership with UK mobile network, Three, to enable companies to send secure text messages over the Three network. The partnership strengthens Nexmo’s messaging and delivery capabilities worldwide, adding Three’s messaging infrastructure and connectivity capabilities across the UK and internationally, to its network of over 180 carriers around the world.

Nexmo’s cloud-to-mobile solutions enable app developers, online providers and enterprises to reach customers and devices globally via mobile messaging and voice services. Nexmo says its unique direct-to-carrier approach, adaptive routing and real-time analytics enable unmatched quality of delivery, end-user experience and control over latency, security and cost. Nexmo also enables fast roll-out of services to any phone in any geography, resulting in global scale with local flavour.

“Nexmos advanced approach to mobile will enable companies of all sizes to send secure text messages via the Three network,” said Lynda Burton, director of wholesale at Three. “We have made a significant investment in our network and wholesale platforms so we can provide great partnership opportunities to innovative companies such as Nexmo.”

Nexmo’s clients include messaging apps Line and Viber, which use Nexmo for user acquisition and security; Pingdom, which uses Nexmo for mission-critical notifications for its IT monitoring service; and Airbnb, which uses Nexmo to connect hosts with guests. The company estimates that approximately 80 per cent of the OTT market now uses its services.
