NextVR and Live Nation Partner for VR Gigs

VR livestreaming company NextVR has partnered with gig promoter Live Nation to bring live music shows into VR.
Through its Samsung Gear VR app, NextVR will offer fans the chance to experience concerts from a variety of perspectives, from front-row seats to on-stage and backstage access, with 3D audio to take immersion even further.
The artists involved havent yet been announced, though Live Nation counts Madonna, Jay-Z, U2 and Shakira among its talent. The first broadcast show, to be revealed shortly, will take place this summer, with hundreds of events promised to be shown in VR as a result of the deal. 
NextVR worked on a VR concert film with Coldplay back in 2014, but up until now its primary focus has been sporting events.
