Mobile agency Incentivated has created an application that enables mobile users to control table football games from their mobile by Bluetooth.
Compatible with all existing Babyfoot tables (via a mechanical add-on and any BT dongle) the solution obviates the need for strong wrists and, says Incentivated, will help avoid cases of RSI amongst middle-aged new media ad execs found in the bars of Shoreditch.
Keys 1 and 3 control the goalie, 4 and 6 defence and 7 and 9 attack – in clockwise and anti-clockwise directions. 2 and 8 enable trick shots, 5 re-orders the last round of drinks again and 0 connects a call to the David Beckham Academy in South-East London. A future release will allow players to take control of the table via shortcode, enabling bar-owners to charge via PSMS instead of the usual 50p coin.
Incentivated is looking for resellers to extend the product to overseas markets, especially France, where table football is extremely popular.
