O2 has wasted no time in confirming that it will launch iPhone 4 on 24 June. The operator says that in order to make it as easy as possible for O2 customers still in contract to get their hands on a new iPhone, it will offer a “limited time special upgrade offer”, though it’s not saying what that is at this stage, presumably until the bloke with the calculator has worked out what it could cost them.
O2 has launched a microsite to update customers on the availability of the new handset and the tariffs available for the device. 
“Apple has once again raised the bar with the iPhone 4,” says O2’s UK CEO, Ronan Dunne. “With three years’ experience in selling the iPhone, we are well placed to support the new device with the best overall experience, including making it easy for new and existing customers to get their hands on one.”
