Ogone has signed a strategic agreement with mobile payments company Tunz.com and telco Belgacom Group. The agreement will see Ogone acquire full ownership of Tunz.com, and the three companies further develop their mobile payments partnership.
The acquistion, which is apparently inspired by the huge growth in mobile payments, will enable Ogone to offer its clients over 80 international payment methods with a single contract. 
“Now is the time to invest in innovative mPayment solutions,” says Ogone chief executive Peter De Caluwe. “Our choice to acquire Tunz.com was therefore a natural one. The company has a solid track record in this space and it also provides one-stop solutions for financial services, both of which will represent tremendous added value to our trusted clients.”
