One Stop and IPC Media Team for In-store Beacon Promotion

Convenience store chain One Stop has teamed with publishing company IPC Media to deliver offers to shoppers using beacon technology.
The campaign will target One Stop customers with promotions offering them discounted copies of leading IPC Media magazines such as Chat, Pick Me Up, TV & Satellite Week and Woman.
The offers are being delivered via Appflares beacon network, in partnership with Epay. Beacons have been installed in every One Stop store, including franchise stores, and will send push notifications to customers with the One Stop or Appflare Redeem apps.
“Our aim is to set the standard in retail convenience, so we are really pleased to be pioneering this new service for our customers,” said Lizzie Reynolds, head of marketing at OneStop. “Mobile is an incredibly important channel for our customers and we want to offer them the best shopping experience in both bricks and clicks.”
