Reddit has announced OpenAI as its new advertising partner.

As part of the collaboration, the social media giant will offer its content and new products to ChatGPT to help users discover and engage with Reddit communities.

To do so, the AI company will access Reddit’s Data API, which provides real-time, structured, and unique content from the platform.

According to the company, the move will allow OpenAI’s AI tools to better understand and showcase Reddit content, especially on recent topics.

The partnership will also allow Reddit to bring new AI-powered features to Redditors and mods.
