OpenMarket Adds Windows 8 and Blackberry 10 to Push API

OpenMarket has updated its push notification API to include support for Windows 8 and Blackberry 10 apps. 

This means its clients can now engage with their customers using push on the top four mobile operating systems. 

The company said: “The proliferation of mobile in enterprise is affecting how companies across industries incorporate technologies into their processes and communications. Push notifications represent one channel of a complete cross-channel mobile engagement strategy to communicate with not just customers, but also business partners and employees.”
