Optimum Nutrition unveils ‘Golden Scoop’ promo with McLaren F1

Optimum Nutrition has announced the launch of its latest consumer promotion, the Golden Scoop, in partnership with the McLaren Formula 1 Team.
The on-pack campaign aims to energise the sports nutrition aisle this summer with exclusive prizes and a nod to high-performance excellence.
The promotion gives consumers the chance to find a hidden golden scoop inside specially marked Gold Standard Whey pouches.
Those lucky enough to discover one will win a grand prize: a McLaren Racing weekend experience in Las Vegas.
Additionally, secondary winners will receive curated bundles that combine McLaren Formula 1 Team merchandise and Optimum Nutrition products, designed to support peak performance and recovery.
The initiative marks the latest chapter in the ongoing collaboration between Optimum Nutrition and the McLaren Formula 1 Team.
“The Golden Scoop campaign is giving us the opportunity to bring our partnership with the McLaren Formula 1 Team directly to consumers in-store, giving them an exciting opportunity to win big whilst supporting our continued focus on driving relevance in the sports nutrition aisle,” said Brian McMonagle, Senior Brand Manager at Optimum Nutrition.
Running until August, the promotion includes Optimum Nutrition’s three top-selling 15-serve Gold Standard Whey flavours, Vanilla, Chocolate, and Strawberry. The campaign is available across major UK supermarkets, Holland & Barrett, and through Optimum Nutrition’s online channels, while stocks last.
To drive awareness and consumer engagement, the campaign is supported by an integrated marketing programme including in-store point-of-sale materials, digital and social media content, and paid advertising.
