There have been a number of reports this morning that Orange and T-Mobile are in talks to merge their mobile phone network operations in the UK. If approved, the deal would create the UKs largest mobile network, with around one third of the market.
We are currently holding on the line for a conference call, arranged by the two companies, that was due to start at 08.30 UK time (five minutes ago). So far, its just muzak, but once it gets underway, well let you know whats happening.
