Orange has announced two new appointments to its UK board. The moves follow the launch of the companys new Agenda in June, which laid out plans to improve, grow and evolve the company.
Jackie OLeary, currently Director of Customer Service at The Carphone Warehouse, will join Orange next month as Vice President of Service. She will be in charge of Orange mobile and broadband customer service strategy and teams, ensuring that the company delivers the best possible experience to its customers.
OLearys appointment follows Vice President of Service Mike Hughess move to the position of Vice President of Transformation. The role will ensure that, having reorganised the business, Orange can deliver quickly and efficiently on the potential of the new organisation, the company says.
In a world that appears to be changing ever-more quickly, we need to be more agile, we need to respond quicker and we need to be better set up for the challenges that lie ahead, says Orange UK CEO, Tom Alexander. We also need help in accelerating some of those projects that are vital to the transformation of the business. Mike is taking on this role as someone who knows Orange inside out, and he will be key to driving through a number of core projects across a variety of areas including some major efficiency initiatives.
