Out There Media Launches Opt-in Mobile Ad Program in Germany

Mobile advertising firm Out There Media and Telekom Deutschland, part of Deutsche Telekom, have announced the launch of a comprehensive mobile advertising offering in the German market. The highlight of the offering is “SpecialOffers”, an opt-in mobile advertising program for Telekom Deutschland customers. Within the framework of the collaboration, sales, business development and operations support are undertaken exclusively by the Out There Media office in Germany, which is based in Düsseldorf. The offering runs on Mobucks, Out There Media’s proprietary mobile advertising platform.

SpecialOffers is being launched by Telekom Deutschland as a ‘Mobile Advertising on Demand’ service, for customers who supply demographic and lifestyle characteristics about themselves, and who opt-in to receive ads on their mobiles that are tailored according to their preferences, interests and needs. The service is free for customers, who can register online to receive news, promotions, special discounts and opportunities to enter exclusive competitions, sent directly to their mobile. Telekom customers who register for SpecialOffers by 31 March 2011 will be entered into a competition to win prizes including a Mini, VIP tickets for the Telekom Lounge at the Allianz Arena with travel and accommodation, plus mobile handsets, tablet PCs, and more.
