Over 150 Entries for the Effective Mobile Marketing Awards

The 2011 Effective Mobile Marketing Awards, headline-sponsored by Upstream, have attracted a record 154 entries, more than double the number of entries we received when we launched the awards last year. Judging is now underway, with the shortlist in each category due to be revealed w/c 19 September.
Brands represented in this years awards include Peugeot, Mazda, Shell, HP, Pepsico, Waitrose, Tesco, Debenhams, Taco Bell, the FT, the Guardian, Telegraph Media Group and Audi.
“We are thrilled at the number of entries for this years awards,” says Mobile Marketing editor, David Murphy. “The judges will be working overtime, but its a great problem to have, and judging from the entries we have looked at so far, the bar is going to be set very high this year.”
The winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony, which takes place at Delfina in London on 3 November. Tickets for the event are on sale now, priced at £225 for a single seat, or £2,050 for a table of 10. Theres more information here.
