PageOne Communications has launched MoodleMobile 2, a plug-in for open source VLE (Virtual Learning Environment) Moodle 2 which provides access to Janet text messaging services.

Using the plug-in, course administrators will be able to send any combination of SMS, email and Moodle messages to their contacts and groups within the VLE – so that students can be immediately notified of timetable or room changes. Any replies are then automatically routed back via email, or through Moodle.
