Park Resorts Unveils Gamified App

Leading holiday park operator Park Resorts is gamifying its free My Park Resorts app to increase brand engagement with users.
The app, available on iOS devices, enables users to gain points and badges for sharing actions and photos on social media, checking in to a park or booking holidays. These points can then be used to enter competitions for prizes.
The app uses social media logins, connecting it to guests Facebook, Twitter or Google+, as well as their Park Resorts website login. This enables users who upload content like photos, videos or comments to their in-app newsfeed can easily share them on personal social media accounts too.
The app also includes information on Park Resorts 39 UK holiday parks, including local attractions, special offers and details about entertainment and activities available on site, as well as a journey planner function and local weather updates.
“Here at Park Resorts our main aim is to help our customers create amazing memories,” said Iain Richards, sales and marketing director for Park Resorts. “We have the tools to help customers do this on park, however, we havent had an app that can keep us connected with our customers once theyre off park. This new app gives us an industry advantage as no other holiday park operator has created an app of this kind.”
