Passbook Boarding Passes Land on British Airways App

[img_assist|nid=25907|title=|desc=|link=popup|align=left|width=92|height=150]British Airways has added Passbook boarding pass integration into its app. The update comes as part of version 4.4 of the iOS app, along with a variety of bugfixes, enabling passengers to use the mobile boarding passes in 100 airports globally.
The airline says it will be adding the option to access the boarding passes directly from the iPhone lockscreen later this month. 
BA is just the latest airline to add this capability. Most recently, it was adopted by Alaskan Airlines, but a whole host of others – including Lufthansa, Qantas, easyJet, and Virgin – have gotten on board with Passbook since it launched last September as part of iOS 6.
