paythru and mFabrik Team Up for Mobile Offering

Mobile payment firm paythru has joined forces with full service mobile solutions agency mFabrik to offer brands a one stop shop for the creation of a mobile sales channel. The companies say the service will be of interest to any organisation that wants to benefit from increasing consumer demand for mobile commerce  being driven by the explosion in sales of smart phones and ‘all you can eat’ data packages from telecom service providers.

The service covers everything from the design and development of a mobile internet site; through the integration with existing online sales channels, to the implementation of mobile payments and associated merchant services and accounts.

paythru’s secure mobile payments platform works with any internet-enabled mobile and using any bank or credit card. The platform Level 1 PCI DSS-compliant, delivering the same standard of security as retail bank and card issuers.

mFabrik uses its in-house mobile services platform, Apex Vertex, to deliver internet content and interactive services to internet-enabled phones. Its clients include Apollo Cinemas, Swiftcover, Nivea and London City Airport.

“Our clients are looking for the very best in mobile internet solution design and implementation and the payment function is a critical part of this,” says mFabrik UK managing director, Teemu Sorvisto. “Partnering with paythru not only strengthens our offering, but means our clients can get all they need to generate mobile sales revenues in one place.”
