Pegasystems, a US-based business process and CRM specialist, has bought mobile app development and management company Antenna for an undisclosed sum.
Although Pega already offers mobile development services, the company’s founder and CEO Alan Trefler said: “Traditional mobile technology can lead to separate channel-specific applications which hamper customer service and efficient operations. Pega and Antenna coming together offers our collective clients state-of-the-art mobile development, responsive UIs, device management and cloud-based Backend-as-a-Service.” 
Pegasystems made $21.9m in profit last year and employs 2,145 people, with offices in North America, Europe and APAC. The 250 people working for Antenna in New Jersey will join the team.
