Mobile solutions provider Picsel UK has launched its Picsel Smart Office document editor solution across the Apple App Store, Android Market and Samsung Apps.
Picsel Smart Office, which succeeds the group’s previous Picsel File Viewer solution, allows for rich viewing and editing of documents, with accurate content layout, as well as the replication of existing document fonts, graphics and formatting, enabling users to resize text, pictures and tables to fit their mobile viewers.
According to Imran Khand, Picsel UK CEO: “Consumers should expect to be able to enjoy the same seamless experience in accessing documents on their mobile phone as they do on their desktop.” Additional features include: a ‘Page Flow’, carousel-style interface, allowing users to flick through thumbnails of each page; a ‘Visual Scrap Book’, for quick, easy copying and pasting of text and graphics; and animated contextual toolbars that change depending upon the user’s interaction with the document. 
Khand likens Picsel Smart Office to an “intuitive office suite”, adding: “As the space continues to grow, we will continue to keep pushing the boundaries to show the industry that ‘the office’ can exist and flourish on mobile.”
Picsel Smart Office is currently retailing at £5.99.
