Pinterest has launched new tools that make it easier for people to plan and projects on its collaborative planning boards.
The visual social network has introduced a group activity feed within group boards, acting as a timeline of all recent activity in the group including when someone saves a new pin, adds a new section, or when a new member joins.
In addition to being able to keep track of everything on a group board, users will now be able to place comments without having to attach it to a specific pin and group members can respond to get a chat thread going.
“The majority of Pinners use group boards to collaborate with family and friends as they plan parties, events and projects together,” said Pinterest in a blog post. “These updates are in direct response to requests from Pinners just like these, and they’re part of our ongoing effort to make Pinterest a more productive place to bring events and other projects to life.”
The updates have been made available today across all of Pinterest’s platforms on both mobile and web.
