Pinterest appoints Andréa Mallard as first CMO

Andréa Mallard, formerly of Gaps Athleta business, has joined visual curation platform Pinterest as its first chief marketing officer. She will be responsible for telling the Pinterest story to users and partners all over the world, overseeing the companys marketing and creative teams.

Mallard brings over 20 years of experience working with international, retail and customer service-focused companies, having most recently led marketing efforts for Gaps Athleta brand. Prior to that, she spent four years as chief marketing officer at digital health firm Omada Health, and eight years with IDEO, where she led the global brand strategy practice as a design director in the US and Europe.
