Pinterest Updates Apps with Search, Mentions and Notification

Pinterest has updated its Android and iOS apps, to versions 1.5 and 2.4 respectively, adding search, mention, and notification functions.
Search has undergone a redesign, with complete search terms suggested as the user types, and crossplatform search history, intended to make it quicker to pick up desktop searches on the go.
Mentions enable users to tag a person in a pin, and notifications enable users to see comments on their pins or mentioned them, with optional push notifications delivering this straight to their homescreen.
