Pizza Hut Presents Interactive Touchscreen Table Concept

Pizza Hut has worked together with Chaotic Moon, which developed its app offering in the US, on a concept for an interactive touchscreen table it could deploy in its restaurants in the future.
The concept video, which you can watch below, shows the table recognising a customers iPhone to pull up their details and enable them to pay for the meal via credit card. The focus, however, is on the ordering process which uses a slick gesture-controlled UI to put together a customised pizza.
Its an impressive demo, though if the tables ever get deployed, you have to feel sorry for the staff responsible for wiping down all those greasy fingerprints…
