PlaceIQ Introduces Landmark

Consumer location tools and data provider PlaceIQ has introduced its first data as a service capability. Landmark aims to offer seamless access to PlaceIQ’s curated audience, behaviour and visitation data.

The data provided is built on ‘billions of location-enabled daily device movements’ and can be accessed through either direct integration, third-party business intelligence tools, PlaceIQ’s own business intelligence interface or standalone files.

“For more than six years, PlaceIQ has dedicated itself to refining the basic building blocks of location insights, such as movement, mapping and measurement,” said Duncan McCall, CEO and co-founder of PlaceIQ. “Through our work with leading brands across many verticals, it has become evident that they now view location as mission critical, and desire to use it to accelerate their business success.”

PlaceIQ says that leveraging Landmark means that ‘for the first time’ clients will be able to apply location-derived insights on their own premises and across a range of business decisions. It aims to offer flexibility in the way that PlaceIQ’s clients consume movement and audience data for decision making.

Its offering is available via subscription or license.
