
Research In Motion (RIM) has announced that its long-awaited tablet device, the PlayBook, will be available in 16 markets within the next 30 days.
The UK release date is set at June 16, while the tablet launched in the US and Canada in April. Precise dates for the 15 markets other than the UK have not yet been confirmed, but RIM has today revealed that the tablet device will roll out during the next month in the following territories.

As we previously reported, the PlayBook will be available from £399 for a 16GB model. The device will go on sale through Dixons Retail (owner of Currys and PC World), Carphone Warehouse, Best Buy (which part-owns Carphone Warehouse), Insight UK and Phones 4u.
