Mobile media firm Player X Distribution, which specialises in games, video and TV, has formed a strategic alliance with mobile advertising marketplace AdMob, as it continues its expansion into managed services.
The alliance is part of Player X Distributions expansion of its value-added services for its content partners. It will enable the company to offer its managed service content partners integrated marketing campaigns that include advertising across AdMobs global network.
Player X was recently appointed by O2 UKs as the exclusive aggregator of its recently-launched 100% Mobile portal that offers O2 customers the opportunity to trial, test and buy a huge array of mobile games. Player X is using mobile advertising to drive traffic to the portal as part of a customer acquisition programme. The portal will enable content partners to track conversions from their ad campaigns right through to download.
