PlayHaven Launches Self-serve Marketplace

PlayHaven, the real-time mobile game marketing platform for iOS, has added a Self-serve Marketplace to its platform, which opens up its network of publishers to third party mobile platforms and service providers. PlayHaven says the Self-Serve Marketplace will allow game developers to leverage and deploy both third party and native PlayHaven marketing and monetization tools in real time.

Housed in a single SDK and web back-end technology stack, tools provided by initial partners Tap.Me, TeleSocial, and PressOK’s PlacePlay (in addition to PlayHaven’s own set of developer resources), will allow for the management of developing gaming experiences at rapid speed. PlayHavem says that tools offered by its partners will always be available, and ready to be enabled and deployed via its developer dashboard, without the need to update the SDK.

“Mobile game developers are being overwhelmed with products and services that require yet another SDK integration, data source to analyze, and relationship to manage,” says PlayHaven CEO, Andy Yang. “Opening up our platform to third party service providers, and centralizing their tools and data into our technology stack, will allow our publishers to turn on powerful features in real-time without any of the existing pain points.”

PlayHaven’ platform has a reach of 36m unique users, driving 200m monthly game sessions. The company says its mission is to bring the speed and flexibility of the web into mobile games to help developers maximize the revenue potential of their titles. PlayHaven has to date helped more than 800 games in the App Store.
