Polar Mobile has revealed that its apps have been downloaded over 10m times and that the company has served over 1.5bn pages since its first app launch in 2008. Polar now has 320 customers in 11 countries and is powering 1,200 apps across iPhone, iPad, Android, BlackBerry, PlayBook, Windows Phone and Nokia devices. In the past year, the company has increased the number of apps by 1,500 per cent, the number of overseas customers by 220 per cent, and the user base by 67 per cent.

Polar Mobile’s clients include Condé Nast International, CBS Interactive, The Globe and Mail, and Transcontinental Media. The company’s user base spans 117 countries.
