Pontoon Comes to the Mobile

Cecure Gaming has launched Aces Royal Blackjack, which it claims is the most advanced real-money blackjack game for mobile phones. The game, also known as 21 or Pontoon, is the second title released by Cecure Gaming on its next-generation mobile gaming platform, following the release of Aces Royal Poker.
Designed specifically for mobile phones, Aces Royal Blackjack gives blackjack lovers the chance to play the game on the move. It is configured for compatibility on virtually any phone, says Cecure, so the game is easy to play, and players get a full screen of graphics without having to scroll. Table limits on Aces Royal Blackjack range from 10 pence to 10.
Game features include a 3:2 Blackjack payout (1.50 for a 1 bet); Surrender (players can give up half their bet in a tough situation); split any pair; and Five card Charlie (if the player draws five cards without going bust, they automatically win the hand).
Any blackjack fan will appreciate the simple fun of Aces Royal Blackjack on their mobile phone says Cecure Gaming CEO Peter Karsten. People can play for a few pennies or a few pounds. Its easy to play, looks great and kills a few minutes while waiting for a bus. Whether you call it Blackjack, 21 or Pontoon, this is one of the most popular games in Britain, and were very pleased to be bringing another great game to Britains mobile phones.”
Aces Royal Blackjack is compatible with most handsets from Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, Sharp, LG and Samsung. More Aces Royal games are due in 2007. Players must be 18 or over to play, and Cecure says it has instituted adequate controls to prohibit minors accessing its gaming systems. Cecure takes measures to prevent players from jurisdictions where its service is not permitted by local legislation, and works with appropriate groups to provide information, advice and practical help in addressing the social impact of gambling and in promoting a responsible approach to real-money gaming.
