KeyPoint Technologies has released beta version 0.9 of Adaptxt, an Android app designed to adapt to users writing style to cut down the number of keystrokes needed to write a text. Powered by Predictive Text 2.0, the app uses AI to provide accurate and relevant text prediction, error correction and auto-correction inputs.
Version 0.9 supports over 50 languages and introduces a number of industry-specific dictionaries. The update also adds an automatic text replacement feature, which gives users the option of assigning commonly used text and phrases to particular abbreviated shortcuts, and a private text input mode, which can be used to prevent Adaptxt from learning crucial data, such as the users PIN and passwords.
The app is, at least currently, free to download.
