Premier Inn App Redesign Doubles Sales Conversions

Premier Inn has seen average daily sales conversions from its relaunched iOS app increase to a peak of 5.9 per cent, up from three per cent, following the apps relaunch at the start of the month.
The app, developed by Grapple, has been downloaded over 2m times since January 2011, and is responsible for over 100,000 room bookings in 2012.
“As the UK’s largest hotel brand, mobile is an important strategic business tool for both servicing our customers and driving commercial growth,” said Mark Fells, digital director at Whitbread Hotels & Restaurants. “The Premier Inn app has exceeded all expectations over the past two years.
“Relaunching the app for iPhone, and the new iPad version, are important steps in making our guests’ lives easier throughout their stay with Premier Inn and driving customer loyalty.”
