Proteus, the US arm of 2ergo has taken the name of the UK-based, AIM listed parent company. The move to 2ergo, a leading provider of convergent mobile communications, is part of the groups plans to scale the business globally.
Proteus officially becoming 2ergo Americas Inc., follows the groups acquisition of the US provider of mobile marketing products and solutions in 2006. 2ergo says the move strengthens 2ergos position as a global brand, providing it with access to more global opportunities worldwide and enhancing key business areas, such as product management and development, marketing and customer support.
Increasingly, we are working with more and more international brands, says 2ergo Managing Director, Chris Brassington. With our new global identity, we have a consistent customer focus, on a local and global scale, enabling us to deliver the highest levels of customer experience to our clients and partners.
Since forming in 1999, 2ergo has earned a reputation for its technical expertise, which has enabled the group to provide mobile products and solutions to some of the worlds most respected brands. This has contributed to the groups significant growth, further demonstrated by its recently published mid-year financial results, reporting revenues up 13% and pre-tax profit up by 20% compared with the same period last year.
