The Mobile Publishing Masterclass which Mobile Marketing is staging in partnership with Camerjam, is proving as popular with publishers as our Retail Masterclass has proved with retailers.
The list of publishers already signed up to attend the April event spans the newspaper, magazine and book publishing industries. It includes Random House, Harper Collins, Thames Hudson, Pearson, the FT, Trinity Mirror, Telegraph Group, Haymarket, IDG, Centaur, Incisive Media and UBM. There are still places for publishing industry executives wishing to attend, however, and sponsorship slots are still open to mobile solutions providers.
The event takes place in London on 12 April, and will offer publishing executives a detailed briefing from mobile solutions providers on how to build a mobile website or mobile-optimised version of an existing website; create mobile apps; blish on tablets; use mobile coupons and advertising, including location-based advertising; and how to take mobile payments.
Each solutions provider will present an overview of their area of expertise, before moving to a round-table, surgery format, where the publishers will have an opportunity to ask each specialist more detailed questions. The event is free to attend for publishers.
The Mobile Publishing Masterclass is the second in our series of Masterclass events. Our Retail Masterclass takes place in London on 15 March. The latest companies to sign up for that include Boots, QVC and notonthehighstreet.com. They join a line-up that already includes Sainsburys, Marks & Spencer, Mothercare, Asda, Debenhams, John Lewis, and many more.
There are four more Masterclass events planned for 2011:
- Hospitality – May
- Travel – June
- Automotive – September
- Banking & Finance – November
