PubMatic Adds 12 Publishers to Programmatic Platform

Newspapers MobileProgrammatic ad platform PubMatic has announced 12 new premium UK publishers have adopted its platform to deliver advertising to consumers.

The publishers include The Economist, Vice, talkSPORT Radio, TV Guide UK and ESI Media, who publish the Independent and London Evening Standard.

“We are please that more and more publishers in the UK are relying on PubMatic to help them address the rapid changes that are shaping their marketplace,” said Rob Jonas, global chief revenue officer for PubMatic. “In a short amount time, programmatic has gone from being a novel concept to the new normal for publishers.

“The PubMatic EMEA customer portfolio has quadrupled in the last 12 months and we continue to take market share from our competitors.”

The company also announced several new additions to its EMEA leadership team, including Daniel Wilson, formerly of Amobee and EE, and Emma Newman, previously at Microsoft, AOL and Clear Channel.

“As digital ad spend in programmatic and Real-Time bidding contines to surge, PubMatics EMEA expansion and senior team will be instrumental to support publishers as they develop their digital strategies, leading many of them to switch from their existing exchange solutions to the true publisher-focused software platform that PubMatic provides,” said John Stoneman, vice president for EMEA at PubMatic.
