PubMatic has partnered with Japan’s So-net ad network to launch a programmatic platform in the country to enable publishers, advertisers and agencies to efficiently trade inventory.
PubMatic's platform offers real-time bidding functionality, along with a private marketplace. PubMatic will benefit from gaining access to key premium publishers in Japan through So-net, a subsidiary of Sony.
“Over the last two years, the programmatic marketplace has developed and matured dramatically in Japan, establishing Japan as the leader in RTB in APAC according to IDC,” said Takeshi Jibiki, President at So-net Media Networks. “To meet the growing market demands and better meet the needs of publishers, we have formed a strategic partnership with PubMatic.”
