Puma Kicks Off Foap Campaign

Puma has teamed up with Foap for an engagement campaign which encourages users to submit photos for the chance to win a prize.

Foap describes itself as a mobile photography agency – essentially, it enables users to upload their own photos, via an iOS app, in response to a brief from a brand, which it calls a Mission. The best photo then wins a cash prize, and brands are also able to buy the rights to the submitted photos for their own marketing materials.

In this case, Puma is looking for photos around the theme of ‘What does football mean to you?’. The winning image will be net the photographer a prize of $2,000, as well as a pair of Puma’s evoSPEED 1.2 football boots.

“Using Foap Missions, we want our fans to capture the moments that mean the most to them,” said Rutger Hagstad, communications manager at Puma. “We always looking for innovative new ways to connect with our community of fans and in Foap we believe we’ve come across a great new way to reward them for their loyalty.”

The competition will run from 18 June to 9 July.
