QR Code Gets Colourful With Carnaby

Carnaby, one of London’s leading shopping destinations for fashion and lifestyle, says it has seen a positive spike in visits to its website since the deployment of a colour QR code at the beginning of May, with visits to the site up by 258 per cent.

Purposefully integrating turquoise, orange, blue, purple and pink within its data pattern, the new code mimics the latest Carnaby marketing campaign, which uses the same five block colours to identify specific attractions within the Carnaby area. (Turquoise – Kingly Court; Orange – Carnaby Street; Blue – Food and Drink; Purple – Newburgh Quarter; and Pink – Foubert’s Place, Broadwick Street and Beak Street).

Created and designed by Carnaby Street-based experiential communications agency Sister, the colour branded QR code can be seen on the latest copy of the Carnaby Essential Guide, available from carnaby.co.uk and from all retail stores, cafes, bars and restaurants within the Carnaby area.
