Radio Veteran Joins HipCricket Board

US mobile marketing firm HipCricket has appointed Kraig Thomas Kitchin as a Non-executive Director. Kitchin, aged 47, will join the Board of Directors with immediate effect.
Kitchin is well known in the US radio industry, having previously served as President and COO of Premiere Radio Networks for 20 years until he left to found an entertainment industry consulting firm earlier this year.
Currently the co-president of Big Shoes Productions and a founder in Sound Mind, LLC, Kitchin was also one of the founders of Premiere Radio, which launched in October 1987. At Premiere, Kitchin directed and oversaw all talk and music programming and services, featuring varied list of radio personalities. In addition, he supervised Premiere Radios other properties, including Mediabase 24/7, the music monitoring service; MJI Programming; and FOX Sports Radio. Kitchin says he will use his in the radio industry to join forces with HipCricket in revitalizing the current radio market in the US, with the help of mobile.
