Red Herring Award for Rubberduck

Mobile TV provider Rubberduck Media Lab has picked up a Red Herring 100 Europe award, given to the top 100 private technology companies based in the EMEA region each year.
Red Herrings lists of top private companies are an important part of the publications tradition of identifying new and innovative technology companies and entrepreneurs. Companies like Google, eBay, and Skype were spotted in their early days by Red Herring editors, and touted as leaders that would change the way we live and work.
Red Herrings editorial staff rigorously evaluated several hundred private companies through a careful analysis of financial data and subjective criteria, including quality of management, execution of strategy, and dedication to research and development. We've spent five years to make (sic) Mobile TV services more helpful and easier to use, says Rubberduck CEO, Ola Svartberg. It's wonderful to have these efforts recognized by the respected Red Herring magazineThis inspires us to continue our efforts to provide an easy and cost effective way for broadcasters, media owners and mobile network operators to produce and distribute TV and video on mobile phones.
