Retailers Out in Force at the Mobile Retail Summit

The retail community will be out in force at the Mobile Retail Summit in London on 24 April. The event is designed to help retailers on their mobile journey, and so far, more than 100 have confirmed their attendance, including representatives from (deep breath): Ted Baker, Homebase, Marks & Spencer, Bravissimo, McArthurGlen, JD Williams, Tesco, Tesco.com, Wickes, Phones 4U, Argos, Clinique, Wallis, House of Fraser, Greggs, Debenhams, C rew Clothing Co, Boots, Mr Porter.com, Toys R Us, Homebase, Crabtree & Evelyn, Sainsbury’s, LateRooms.com, M&M Direct, Ryman Stationery, Burton, and John Lewis, plus many more.

They will hear from fellow retailers Morrisons, Schuh and Pizza Express, plus mobile marketing experts from Brainstorm, Trademob, Urban Airship, Millennial Media, MyThings, The Weather Channel, Chash Group, Glue Isobar, mBlox and many more.

The conference programme is divided into four sessions: On Device; Driving Footfall; In Store; and The Future. The programme explains how retailers can put mobile to work at all stages of the customer journey.

Matthew Hopkinson, business development director at the Local Data Company, will kick off proceedings with a hard-hitting look at the state of the British High Street today, underlining why no retailer can afford to ignore the mobile channel.
After the conference, we will be staging the Mobile Retail Awards Ceremony, sponsored by Collstream, with awards up for grabs in 10 categories. There is still time to enter the Awards, but the deadline for entries is 5pm UK time today.

There are more details on the Awards here. You can see the Agenda here. And you can book tickets here. And if you book before midnight tonight you can claim a 25 per cent discount, using the discount code MRS25.
