Retailers Out in Force for the Mobile Retail Summit

High Street UK Chester ShopsMore than 160 retailers are due to attend the third annual Mobile Retail Summit taking place next Thursday, 5 June, in London. The event features a full-day’s conference programme, plus workshops from Twilio and ZinMobi, and the Innovation Lab, which will showcase innovative technology solutions aimed at the retail sector.

Brands in attendance include House of Fraser, Lakeland, Topshop, Argos, Arcadia Group, Boots, Cath Kidston, Debenhams, Agent Proviocateur, French Connection, Greggs, Marks and Spencer, Morrisons, Paul Smith, Teso, Wiggle, Waterstones and many more.

Speakers include Domino’s, Westfield Labs, the Local Data Company, StreetHub, Humble Grape, and Craig Sullivan, who has worked on successful mobile projects for retail brands including John Lewis, LOVEFiLM, Autoglass and Spareroom.
In the Innovation Lab, retailers can get to grips with the latest retail tech from Avenue Imperial, Fits.me, Luma, Metail, PixelPin, Sensum, The Sound Agency and TagPoints.

There are two interactive workshops at the event. At 2.30, Twilio will offer delegates a guided tour of its cloud-based communications platform used by companies including Tesco, Walmart and Home Depot to transform customer experiences.
The workshop will include a live build of an SMS application in just 10 minutes, using the company’s platform.

At 3.15, Zinmobi will run a workshop explaining how retail brands are using mobile to increase sales and loyalty with data-driven mobile marketing campaigns, capturing and using customer transaction, demographic, lifestyle and location data to drive sales. The workshop will include a live demo of the ZinMobi platform, with the creation and deployment of a targeted mobile couponing promotion.
