Revolut supports Game4Ukraine fundraiser with Instagram campaign

Finance app, Revolut, has partnered with the charity match, Game4Ukraine, which will take place on 5 August at Stamford Bridge Stadium in London.

Two teams, captained by ambassadors of the fundraising platform UNITED24, Andriy Shevchenko and Oleksandr Zinchenko, will face each other in the match, which will be followed by a live music event. The main focus of the event and show is to drive donations for the restoration of Mykhailo-Kotsiubynsky Lyceum in the Chernihiv region. The educational institution was damaged by Russian occupiers in March 2022. Game4Ukraine believes that every child should have safe and sanitary access to an education.

Revolut branding will appear on the stadium’s screens and on the shirt sleeves of the players. Additionally, Dmytro Strelchuk, Revolut Operations Lead and a Ukrainian national, will be proudly presenting the Player of the Match Award.

Existing Revolut customers in the UK can enter a draw to win two tickets to the match by making donation on the u24.gov.ua website with their Revolut card. Additionally, for every new customer who signs up to Revolut through the link in @revolutapp’s stories on Instagram and spends with their card, Revolut will donate £20 to UNITED24.

“As a British-Ukrainian citizen, I thank everyone for the ongoing support and I invite you to join Revolut and Game4Ukraine in helping those who need it most right now,” said Revolu Co-founder and CTO, Vlad Yatsenko. “Let’s come together to rebuild Ukraine”,

Revolut’s partnership builds upon the existing work it has done with a range of charities to make a difference to the lives of Ukrainian people. In the first month of Russias invasion of Ukraine, Revolut customers raised more than €10m through a charity appeal to help those impacted. More than 300,000 customers across 50 countries donated to the appeal, with the funds going to the Red Cross Ukraine appeal.

Tickets for the match are available on the official Game4Ukraine website.
