Richard Branson Backs Mobile Donations for Nelson Mandela Appeal

Richard Branson is personally backing a campaign to fuel mobile donations to the Nelson Mandela Appeal.
Mandela, who is critically ill, is celebrating his 95th birthday today (Thursday).
Velti, the mobile technology provider, has teamed up with Virgin Unite, the non-profit arm of the Virgin group, to launch the mobile messaging donations service for the Nelson Mandela Appeal, which fights for social justice.
The tie-up marks the first time that donations have been powered through the mobile platform foir this particular charity. 
Branson, the founder of Virgin group, has been championing the campaign through social media, tweeting about it to his 3.3m followers. He has also been urging staff and friends to donate.
