Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh has launched a location-based app to promote its Rush Rewards loyalty scheme by sending offers and alerts to casino patrons when they are within geo-fenced areas in and around the casino.

The iOS and Android app was created using Joingos Mobile Loyalty Platform, and features real-time integration with Rivers’ Konami Casino Management System.

The app also provides users with directions, the ability to make restaurant reservations, and info about daily specials and promotions. In future versions, the app will add the option to redeem loyalty points in exchange for promotional items.
