Mobile entertainment company ROK Entertainment Group has announced the launch of its mobile News on Demand (NOD) service with Ufone in Pakistan.
The service is being marketed as Ufones Video News Service. Subscribers receive three 60-second videos each day, sent via MMS, containing the latest sports and breaking news for a fee of R50 (0.35) per month. To receive the service in Pakistan, subscribers simply text NEWS to the specially-assigned short-code, 2478.
