ROK Scores with Goal.com Deal

ROK Entertainment Group has struck a deal with football content website Goal.com to deliver Goal.coms most popular online services to mobile phones in selected territories worldwide.
ROK will deliver Goal.coms content, including news feeds, goal alerts and football commentary, to mobile phone operators around the world, both as pay-as-you-go and subscription services, through a variety of formats to include SMS, USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Services Data), mobile Internet and MMS.
The evolution of our hugely popular content from online only to delivery on mobile phones as revenue-generating services has been a major strategic push for Goal.com, and, through working with ROK, we have been able to achieve our multi-purpose service deployment quickly and efficiently, says Goal.com CEO, Gianluigi Longinotti-Buitoni.
Pending the deployment of Goal.coms mobile services to selected operators, the companies have already launched a variety of Goal.com services for mobile phones in 12 countries worldwide. The services are available via you mobile browser at: http://vas.goal.com and include football-related text alerts, downloads, fan chat, a daily soccer quiz, a mobile magazine and mobile email, priced at 3 per month in Europe for all services.
